BioCentric Inc, a JPA Health Company, is currently searching for a Client Services Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the medical communications space, including driving sales growth and managing client relationships. Experience supporting Learning & Development teams is a plus. As a Client Services Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance client satisfaction, expand our client base, and increase revenue.
This is a hybrid position with the ability to work from any of our JPA Health offices.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Implementation of Sold Business
- Work with Medical Directors and Instructional Designers, lead and provide direction to internal project teams on project implementation
- Collaborate with internal resources to ensure that client goals and objectives are met and that clients are satisfied throughout the implementation process, including:
- Scientific Services to ensure that content is strategic and adheres to client guidelines
- Learning Solutions to ensure that instructional design and deliverables are innovative and engaging
- Creative Services to ensure that creative designs and deliverables adhere to client style guidelines and accentuate content being developed
- Project Management Team
- Finance to ensure you are:
- Developing accurate budgets that ensure appropriate levels of profitability
- Budgeting for and using external resources (e.g., freelance, vendor)
- Reviewing weekly budget reports to ensure appropriate of resources
- Developing and contracting for budget addenda to account for project scope changes
Interact with Client Teams
- Serve as primary liaison to all team members involved in assigned projects
Grow Assigned Accounts Organically
- Provide strategic insight and planning ideas for existing accounts on an ongoing basis and during client strategic planning initiatives
- Initiate and manage internal strategic planning for accounts, including presentation of planning recommendations
- Monitor developments in market and therapeutic category that will have impact on accounts and work with team to develop solutions
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and by acting on referrals from current client teams
- Use established relationships to create new business opportunities
- Develop proposals, including budgets, for existing accounts
Support Strategic Goals and Initiatives
- Support business development activities outside of accounts, including providing strategic analysis and participating in sales pitches and proposal and budget development
- Support company strategic goals and initiatives, contributing ideas during brainstorming and motivating and encouraging colleagues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in Account/Client Services at a medical communications or training agency
- Experience in medical communications or learning solutions; experience with both is a plus
- Experience managing live events (e.g., symposia, advisory board meetings, roundtables, training workshops), print projects (e.g., monographs, formulary kits, slide kits) and digital/interactive programs (e.g., websites, eLearning, video, interactive PDFs)
- Proven experience in client services, sales growth, and account management
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products
- Critical thinking and reasoning skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
