JPA is hiring a Research Analyst to join our Research & Insights team. The Research Analyst should have an interest in quantitative research and analytics, as well as strong project management and communication skills. Knowledge of data analysis tools like SQL, SPSS, SAS, or R are preferred. Experience in health research, marketing, advocacy, or policy are also beneficial.

A successful candidate for this role will be a dependable team player with initiative, a strong work ethic, passion for client satisfaction, good judgment, and a positive attitude to help create a productive and enjoyable work environment.


  • Coordinate market research such as surveys, online discussion boards, and focus groups.
  • Gather and interpret data to develop actionable research findings for health-focused government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and life sciences companies.
  • Support project management, coordination with key internal and external stakeholders, and execution of quantitative or multi-method research efforts.
  • Generate ongoing report updates to measure the impact of communications programs and messages within key healthcare audiences.
  • Assist in the development of measurement frameworks and report templates.


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Ability to perform basic queries and analysis of data
  • Experience with qualitative or quotative research
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, SPSS, SAS, or R preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, flexibility and professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage several tasks simultaneously and work both independently and as a team
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Be detail oriented, demonstrate critical thinking, and possess a passion for healthcare communications
