JPA Health Names Michael Sloan as Chief Operating Officer
Washington, D.C., December 3, 2019 – JPA Health, a full-service, wholly integrated health communications firm, announced today the appointment of Michael Sloan as the company’s first chief operating officer (COO). Sloan brings more than two decades of finance and operations experience within the communications and marketing industry.
Sloan will assume responsibility for operations across all offices focused on daily operations success and long-term growth. With deep-rooted experience in the communications sector, Sloan is well-versed in increasing and managing organizational momentum. He will report to Carrie Jones the founder and principal of the firm.

Most recently, Sloan served as chief financial officer and COO at Dynamis Strategic Advisors, a New York-based consulting firm. In his role, Sloan directed all operations activities and implemented the financial strategy for the long-term growth of the business. Additionally, Sloan has held leadership positions at other firms, including Ogilvy and Edelman.

Additionally, JPA continues to add top talent to the agency including Senior Vice President, Karen Goldstein, a health communications specialist with 20 years of experience, and Linda Davis, human resources director with 12 years of experience in the field. All three senior hires are based in the Washington, D.C. office.
